About Nicole

Nicole graduated from Lafayette College with degrees in Anthropology and Art. After college, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Niger, West Africa. She received her MFA in Studio Art from the Maryland Institute College of Art, where she was awarded the MFA in Studio Art Scholarship and the Surdna Art Education Studio Fellowship.  She earned her Master in Education from La Salle University in 2019.

Nicole has worked in public education for the last 22 years.  She specializes in Sculpture and Ceramics at Cedar Cliff High School.  She has worked as an adjunct Critical Studies professor in MICA’s low residency MFA program and has also taught courses at Lebanon Valley College and Millersville University. 

Nicole has exhibited her work and participated in public arts projects in California, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, North Carolina, Beijing, New York, and Washington D.C.
